Zavial

Praia de Zavial on the Algarve near Sagres is a favorite with surfers as the beach can get sizeable waves.

Zavial is a gorgeous beach, with an incredible view from the cafe/restaurant. From Sagres drive through Villa de Bispo to Raposeira and turn right at the traffic lights, then follow the road round.

There is a cave at one end of the beach, but be careful of rockfall.

Zavial has a nudist beach at one end. There is a lifeguard on duty in season. Good cafe/restaurant.
