Journey to the stars

The journey to the stars is viewed in reclining chairs and the planetarium is certainly a good place to escape the summer heat in its dark, air-conditioned environment. The building itself dates from the 1960's but has been renovated since.

Although astronomy continues to be the main theme, now known as the Planetarium of Marinha, the fulldome projection system is able to provide visitors with shows and presentations, displaying content from other areas such as life sciences, sports, history and even abstract music shows.
