Made Inn, Portimão, Algarve

The Made Inn (Book this hotel with Booking.com) in the old town area of Portimão on the Algarve comes highly recommended.

A boutique style hotel with super friendly staff who can really provide in depth information on where to eat in town and how to get around.

The Wifi in the rooms is reliable and the signal strong. The basement buffet breakfasts were more than adequate and there's even a roof terrace for smokers and those who want to top up a tan.

Next door is the budget Next Inn run by the same people which is suitable for singles and backpackers. Cheap cycle hire is available from both establishments.

One of the rooms is done out in a red F1 theme for racing fans.

The reception/lounge area has TV and magazines and is a nice place to relax.

Walk south to get to Igreja do Colégio and Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição as well as buses to the beach at Praia da Rocha.
