Igreja da Nossa Senhora Ferragudo
The Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Ferragudo is the main church in the village. The church is situated at the top of a hill, at the top of the village, overlooking the river and is visible from Portimão and the Fort.

There is a large open space in front of the church where you can enjoy wonderful views over the river, Portimão, and the mouth of the Arade.

Interior
The church was built in the 16th century. The interior has a historic altar, paintings from the 17th-18th century as well as a collection of ex-voto offerings from fishermen to the Virgin Mary.
