Picoas Station, Lisbon

Picoas Metro Station Lisbon is one stop north west from Marques de Pombal Station on the Amarela Line and is known for its iconic, original cast iron entrance way that was donated by the Paris metro.

Picoas

The Art Nouveau Paris metro entrances were the work of Hector Guimard (1867-1942) and were intended to make the metro inviting to Parisians.
